ST AD 02 : North West Adventure Tour ( 10 days / 9night ) Daily departure

This adventure tour helps you to discover North West provinces, visit many ethnic villages and experience home stay.

Depart the tour from Ha Noi and transfer to Hoa Binh to visit the hydro electric centre and the village of Thai people. Continue to go to Son La where you have the chance to learn of different tradition and custom of many minorities here including Tay, Meo, Muong, etc. Following day is reserved for a boat trip on Thacba lake.

Next destination on your tour is Sin Ho and then Baso with a visit of Tam Duong colourful fair. Take a winding and up-hill road trip to Sa Pa – an old French colonial hill station.Enjoy the trekking tour to discover some villages of H’mong, Dzay and Dao minorities. You will also cannot miss Bac Ha market this occasion to see how local people exchange goods.

 

Day 1 : Hanoi -Maichau
Am : 8h00 Depart from your hotel  to Maichau. Stop in HoaBinh to see the Hydro Electric Central. Continue to Maichau, stop over on the way. 13h00 Arrive at Maichau.

Pm :  Short trekking to  visit Thai village, BanVan & BanLac. Overnight at Pomcong village in  Maichau.

 

Day 2 : Maichau - Sonla ( B )
Am : 8h00  Depart to Sonla. Stop to visit small ethnic hamlets scattering along the way from Yen Chau, Moc Chau (Muong people). Luch on the way. 14h00 Arrive Sonla.

Visit  Old Prison of Sonla.  Overnight in Sonla.
 

Day 3 : SonLa - MuCangChai ( B )
7h30 Breakfast at hotel. Visit the hill-tribe hamlets including the Black Tay, Muong and White Tay. Vân Long pass, Ban Nâm Na and other villages in the surroundings). Then depart to MucangChai. Short walk on the way. Some stops on the way at the Da river. Overnight at MuCangChai
 
 

Day 4 : MucangChai - Sapa ( B )
Am : 8h00  Depart to Sapa. Stop on the way for taking photo Terrace field of MucangChai. You will head out on another one of Northern Vietnam's most spectacular roads on the way to Sapa. Arriver in the old French colonial hill station of Sapa late in the afternoon. Free time after check-in until dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
 

Day 5 :  Sapa - Laochai - Tavan  ( 4 hours trekking, 12 km, 3 villages ) ( B )
 Breakfast and relax.. Walk around Sapa and then start from Sapa at 12:00 PM by jeep to visit a village of the Black H'mong (LaoChaiSan). Go though hillsides along MuongHoa river. Cross the river by a suspension bridge to reach LaoChai village. Take the paths across the paddy fields to get to the 3rd village of the Dzay minority (TaVan) and Stay the night at a Dzay family in this village. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.
 

Day 6 : TaVan -Ban Ho  (7 hours trekking, 18 km, 3 villages  ) ( B )
Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of HoangLienSon range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to SuPan village for 2 minorities - The H'mong and the Red Dzao. . Get off the road to go down hill to BanHo village. Overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts. Return and overnight at hotel in Sapa.

 

Day 7 : Sapa -  Bacha market ( B, L ) Sunday
Depart at 6.00 a.m. for Bacha. Stop on the way for sightseeing.
visit ethnic hamlets and take photographs. You will have time to visit the houses on stilt of H'Mong, Dzao, minorities in Bacha. Overnight in Bacha .

 

Day 8 : Bacha - VuLinh Tuyen Quang( B,L, D)
8h00 Am Return to TuyenQuang and transfer to VuLinh village. More stop on the way. Lunch at PhoRang town. Then continue to the remoted village in TuyenQuang, home of Tay people.

Overnight at VuLinh village on house on stills.

Day  9 : Thac Ba lake Boat trip ( B, L, D )
Breakfast. 4 hours boat trip along on the Thacba lake and visit minorities villages at  the river banks -  cruising through many verdant valley. Lunch at the village and free in the afternoon for your free time or relax to discover yourself the area. Overnight at VuLinh village.
 

Day  10 : Vu Linh - Hanoi ( B )
Breakfast then return to Hanoi. Some stop on the way . Arrive Hanoi. End tour.

Note : In case could not visit the Bacha market on tsunday, we may arrange the CanCau market on saturday or CocLy market on Tuesday
